Repairable damage

A small patch can save a big expense.

When damage cannot be cleaned or trimmed away, the affected section can often be removed and replaced.

The best result depends on donor carpet that matches color, texture, wear and pile direction. A leftover remnant is ideal; in some homes, a discreet closet area may be an option.

Patching FAQs

What to know first.

Do I need matching carpet?

Matching material gives the best result. Leftover installation carpet is ideal, and a discreet donor area may sometimes be possible.

Will a patch be completely invisible?

A skilled patch can blend extremely well, but visibility depends on the match, age, wear, lighting and pile direction. We set honest expectations before work begins.

Can burns be cleaned instead?

If fibers are melted or charred, cleaning cannot restore them. Removing and patching the damaged section is often the practical repair.
